Following the retirement of Professor Scanlon in June

2009 the School of Medicine has been seeking a new Professor of Diabetes and

Endocrinology. We are now pleased to announce the appointment of Professor F

Wong and Dr Colin M Dayan as Professors of Experimental Diabetes,

Endocrinology & Metabolism and Clinical Diabetes, Endocrinology &

Metabolism respectively.

Both are currently employed in Bristol University and

will take up their posts with us in late summer 2010.
