Guest guest
Having had success with 25mcg Thyroxine taken only at night and the fact that it keeps my BP down, but at the same time experiance cramp on both nights. I do feel better though in taking thyroxine at night and at the much lower dose. In the past a GP has tried splitting the dose some in the morning and some at night without success. I can only think it absorbs better at night so one does not need such a high dose. I got in touch with the surgery about what I could do about cramp in the night (and that come from my Fathers genes). I have been told to continue as I am with thyroxine and my GP will phone on Thursday, at the same time being told not to worry. I have not had any pain in the night either, but have not been for a ride on my scooter, so will try and rule this out tomorrow, as I have got rid of pain in the past by stopping thyroxine.
