Unable to get Free T3 test

Hi Sheila, i went back to my GP and asked, in writing, for the blood tests that

you advised that i have. He was very nice, but showed me that the computer would

not allow his request for free t3 ,free t4 or copper. he has requested,

Ferritin, Folate,Lipid profile,Magnesium, tsh,vitamin b12 and TPO. He showed me

a free t3 test that i had done in 2006 and it was 5.1 and my ferritin was 5. He

has also added on the form that i may need free t3 and free t4 due to a

conversion disorder. I asked for a copy with reference ranges which he was happy

to agree to. He said that the tests may take 3 weeks. I will post the results

when they come and in the meantime will look into a private free t3 test.
