What are side effects of 'too much' synthyroid?

The only major side effect I can find is osteoporosis but that seems to be

disputed.

The reason I ask is I am taking 200mcg per day! (I'm around 56KGs). I am so

zonked all the time that I am frightened to drop it back for fear of collapsing

in heap! I've not had FT3/4 TSH test for 2 years but frankly I know I'm not

hyper and have been taking levothyroxene for 4/5 years now, and find this dose

keeps palpitations away and keeps me going.

ut...can the large dose of synthyroid over-ride the proper functioning of the

adrenals?

I am hoping the adrenal support will reduce the dose of synthyroid I need.

I have just had adrenals checked with Genova and am about to start support for

that.

Does this make any sense?
