Folate/ Folic Acid supplements - any suggestions?

Hi All,

Just wondered if anyone has any suggestions for a decent Folate replacement?

The reason I am asking is, I have a below normal test result that my GP is

refusing to treat. (Must be the end of the financial year and budget watching

time!) ;-)

P.S. My latest test results are:

Serum Vit B12 302 ng/l

Range 181-914(normal) 145-180(indeterminate) <145(deficient)

Serum Folate 2.8ug/l

Range 3.8-10(normal) 3.4-3.8(borderline) <3.4(low)

Serum Ferritin 52ug/l

Range 15-200 Female: Premenopausal 30-300 Postmenopausal

FT4 rejected (by the lab)

TSH 0.031 u/l

Range 0.35-6.9) below ref range limit
