Guest guest
I had a recent private appointment with an ME/CFS doctor. It was really to get tested for a couple of Acumen tests, rather than thyroid/adrenal aspects. Nonetheless he did make a comment about the amount of Vitamin C that I am taking. (I showed him the adrenal supplements that I have). Some time ago Dr P said to take 4, 1000 mg Vitamin C a day. I always thought that Vit C was water soluble and just passes out and it's difficult to have toxic overdoses of the vitamin. Or if you are having too much, you'll end up with nausea, or diarrhea. I have never had that. The doctor mentioned about a recent research article about Vit C being toxic in high doses. Any ideas what this study is or if you know any more? Needless to say in the interim I have reduced to 2, 1000mg tablets of the supplement a day for now. Cheeers Fiona.
