Had to have a blood test recently Endo. gave me the form last time I saw them as

my vitamin D was on the floor, and from the new test it has not got where it

should be was 25 put on very large dose of Vitamin D and if you remember the cod

liver oil, which I took too much of at first. Anyway I took the vitamin D and

codliver oil for around 16 weeks and am now at 56mnol/L. He wants me to continue

until November and get another test done, I note that they are also asking for

an alb blood test as well as tsh ft4 ft3 and vitamin d.

the letter says thyroid blood test still suggests that you are on slightly too

high a does of thyroid hormone replacement, the numbers are better compared to

last march. Fro the record you TSH (pituitary hormone regulating thyroid

function) remains fully suppressed at less than 0.02 mU/L ( which would be in

keeping with over treatment) Your free thyroid hormones levels however were

within normal range Your calcium level was normal whilst your vitamin D level

has improved to 56nmol/L An otimum level is said to be greater than 75, you

should continue on you current dose of vitamin D.

Then they go on to say i should reduce my erfa a 1/4 of a grain.

I would like to add the only thing I changed on this blood test was hanging on

for my ERFA I went 24 hrs which I did not last time around.

Can anyone on here give me some guidance of where i should go from here and any

ideas why a liver test i think that is what alb is.

Thanking you in advance

Carol
