That reminds me my GP asked me some time ago if I thought that he should be able to prescribe T3 for all of his thyroid patients & I said that no I did not think this as you need to be aware of the risks & also need to know your own body well I think to not take too much. I am grateful that he prescribes it for me though of course!

I am wondering if it is because they think that T3 is the same as T4 but just acts more quickly that they do not like to use T3. Lilian
