Extending GP boundaries consultation

The Department of Health is currently asking for public opinion about abolishing

the practice boundaries that currently make it difficult for patients to

register at GPs more than a few miles away from where they live.

This could be an important improvement for patients with thyroid disease as if

your doctor is thyroid unsympathetic, the proposed change would mean that there

would be nothing from preventing you from moving to one that is more

sympathetic.

They will only make the change if enough people who respond are in favour. It

took me about 10 minutes to fill in the questionairre.
