Guest guest
Sheila, Does that question mean that you have never been diagnosed with hypothyroidism before but you went on a T3 containing replacement straight away (not having had thyroxine), or can it mean you were euthyroid on the dose of thyroxine you were taking, but T3 helped. If someone was euthyroid (not having had any replacement) but symptoms alleviated by say Armour, the symptoms might well have been improved with thyroxine alone had they been given it. This question is not really (in my opinion) a counter-example that a person needs T3. All it shows is that someone has not been diagnosed when they should have been and thyroxine alone might well have been sufficient to make them feel better. Lilian Have you been diagnosed euthyroid (normal thyroid gland function) but had continuing symptoms that were mitigated by a T3-containing replacement. Yes……..No……..
