Good morning. I apologise that this is a very 'general' question; I'm finding it

extremely difficult at the moment to read anything at length and assimilate,

which is why I haven't done a lot of research and, quite honestly, I think I

need some objective opinions and advice too please.

My current doctor will no longer be able to prescribe Armour for me. I thought I

would be okay, supply wise, for 3 months since my last (and final) prescription

for it but have found that I am having to gradually increase my dosage (as

recommended here until I 'hit' the right place for me). Started on 1/2 grain

daily, currently up to 1.5 grains but still many hypot symptoms. Hence I am

having to seek an alternative much sooner than I'd hoped.

My current financial situation is not good; I'm saving all I can for a first

appointment with Dr P. Meantime, I have no option but to monitor myself which I

am thankfully very good at doing thanks to this forum!

I am little worried, however, about what to buy, possibly as a cheaper(?)

alternative to Armour and the reliability/quality of the supply and supplier. I

think I've read here that Erfa(?) from Canada is a possibility. Will I be able

to purchase this without a prescription and, if so, could anyone kindly let me

me know of a reliable source in terms of supply and quality? I think, more than

anything else, I'm worried about winding up buying it/an NDT alternative to

Armour from a 'dodgy' source unknowingly.

Many thanks.
