Guest guest
I went to my doctor today to get a TSH test as I don't think I'm on the right dose of levot. (Whether it's the right replacement medicime is another, pending, question.) I expressed my concern at the " normal " range being so much larger than in Canada and he was boggled. " Up near 10 a person would be very ill. We aim for something close to 3. " He went on to say that the normal range is 1-5, but that doctors aim to hit the middle, round about 3. That might still be too high, but it's so different to what others are hearing from their doctor. What a barmy situation! Jo
