AIDS in Rural India- From a New Member

Respected Sirs

I am Dr Milind P Bhrushundi, working in Govt Medical

college Yavatmal Maharashtra. Working in field of HIV

and AIDS for last 5 years.As a matter of fact I am

member of the forum for few months. I am working in

Rural Medical college which caters for the rural and

tribal area. With limited resources(even HIV testing

facility was not available before few months) I am

trying to deliver my services to my fullest of

efforts.

Sir, we are talking too much about the stigma,

reduction in prices of ARV, home based cares but we

are not doing the things to be done in rural areas.

The HIV and AIDS with it's speed is is taking to the

rural population to a worst stage. We were already

late in our efforts in combating this dreaded disease

in urban population, we are very very late in rural

population too.
