Guest guest
What really happened to Wakefield? Wakefield was the first researcher to discover a possible link between the MMR vaccine and autism. As a result, vaccine rates fell - and the inevitable witch-hunt followed. Following the longest-ever General Medical Council (GMC) hearing, he was eventually stripped of his right to practise medicine. But at no time in the 18-month hearing did the GMC say that Wakefield's discoveries were wrong. Since he published his first research paper, Wakefield has continued to research the area. Mysteriously, papers he has prepared - and which had been accepted by prestigious medical journals - have mysteriously disappeared. Funding for his research has dried up. So - what really happened to Wakefield? What has he discovered that the medical journals are so keen to suppress? has agreed to an exclusive interview with WDDTY editor Lynne McTaggart in a live teleseminar on Sunday, June 27th He will be answering Lynne's questions - and yours too. You can submit a question, and will do his best to answer it. It will be a live telephone call that you can also access via the web. To book your place on the call, please follow this link. Guest guest
P.S. I have the original retracted 1998 Lancet Wakefield et al. paper PLUS the monkey paper which shows an association between mercury in vaccines and autistic symptoms. This paper too was forced out of the public eye in a most blatant fashion. From: Sheila <sheila@...>thyroid treatment Sent: Sunday, 20 June, 2010 9:23:31Subject: RE: What really happened to Wakefield? Guest guest
I have never read anything either that said that Dr Wakefield's findings were wrong. This has always puzzled me and I find it very suspious. MacG.
