Guest guest
Hello Sheila and Lee, As a thyroid patient for over 16 years and being left with serious Hypo symptoms for most of that time, until I found a really good Doctor through an internet forum, who diagnosed me last year with Hashimotos..Adrenal fatigue,Glandular fever and Mercury and lead poisoning. It was an extremely emotional time for me to have all my symptoms acknowledged and treated properly..I am now on NDT...but all this has left me wondering how this could have happened to me for such a long time..and now because of a good Doctor I am well. I noticed there are lots of Doctor requests in all the good forums all over the world and my idea was to set up an international Good Doctor Database on Facebook....this would not be a discussion or advice group it would be just for directing people to well informed thyroid Doctors and to build up this data base.. If I had had a decent doctor in the first place much of my suffering would have been alleviated.. I was hoping people on here might be able to help..by recommending well informed thyroid GP's Also..I thought it would show the world that we appreciate well informed Thyroid Doctors and support them so even if you are not looking of a Doctor yourself, your presence on there would show solidarity for the Doctors who stand up to the status quo.We have Power to make Change.. Though at the moment this a group is very small,I am sure we can build this database together for the good of all thyroid people Diagnosed and undiagnosed Thanks for listening Your sincerely Caroline Whitehouse. PS we are looking for good thyroid Doctors from the UK !! the link to Thyroid Doctors Worldwide Database is http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=107843015904179 & ref=mf
