ADRENAL HELP - HC

Hi All

Would appreciate advice or thoughts from anyone who is using HC to boost

adrenals. Tried Nutri Adrenal, but it made me so jumpy and uncomfortable, and

that was only on a quarter of a tablet!

Saw Dr P for the first time recently, and he recommended HC 5mg, suspended in

water to really dilute it. He suspected adrenals were screwing up my thyroid. I

just got my Thyroid hormone urine test back and was quite shocked at the result,

although I had always suspected it was the T3 not getting into the cells and

tissue that was a problem. The T3 was so low it was scary, with the T4 below

range, but not as bad as the T3. The blood tests showed FT3 as being on the

baseline of the reference range.

Dr P says I'm borderline ian and wants me to use HC, but I am concerned

about the following and would appreciate any feedback:

HC can be contraindicative as it suppresses the immune system, and it reacts

with systemic fungal infections. I already have weakened immunity, as I get

infections constantly, however, this could be due to my adrenal/thyroid issue.

So will taking HC worsen this, or help it by boosting my adrenals?

I also have constant systemic fungal problems, despite a rigorous diet and

constant controlling with homeopathy and anti-fungals - my immune system cannot

keep it under control on its own. Will taking HC make this even worse?

Thirdly, I am worried HC is going to make me aggitated or aggressive as it is a

steroid. I already grapple with feeling edgy due to my health problems, and

don't want to lose what friends I have by being an angry cow. Has anyone

experienced this? If so, does it wear off? Dr P thinks I'll have to be on HC for

the rest of my line as he suspects the adrenal issue is a congenital one.

Finally, I remember somebody posting a link to an adrenal support forum on here.

If there is one, could someone please post the link again.
