Guest guest
Likely the doctor doesn't even know that you can use Erfa sublingually, and likely he doesn't even know why it is often better to take thyroid hormones sublingually. However, the fact that you have persuaded your doctor to prescribe Erfa for you within the NHS is one heck of an achievement. Can you write to me and give me the name of this doctor and the address of the hospital and tel. no. so I can add him to my list of doctors who will prescribe either synthetic T3 or natural thyroid extract to sheilaturner@... You should have responded to your doctor by saying " there is not evidence that this is NOT true " . Play them at their own game. I asked my doctor to be prescibed with Erfa. When I asked him about how to take it he said " swallow it " . I was a bit surprised as I had read that it was best to do it sublingually for the reason you give. When I told him this he said " there is not evidence that is true " . He could have said that I could also do it sublingually if I wished, don't you think?. By the way, I am doing it sublingually.
