Guest guest
My T3 registered 418 on a scale where 'normal' starts at 592. My understanding is that,in normal functioning, T4 converts to T3 via liver and kidneys. Most (80%)T3 comes from the conversion of T4, so this low figure suggests my system is trying to conserve energy by producing 'reverse T3'. This need to conserve energy probably stems from my rather stressful life, but may have an element of heredity. It comes in combination with a very low score - 5.9 - on the Adrenal Stress Test so now I can see why I've been SO tired, forgetful and otherwise dysfunctional:-) In fact, I'm amazed I'm functioning at all. I'm very much looking forward to being WELL - no matter how long it takes.
