Last week i increased thyroid-s to 2 grains and i have felt fantastic all week.

However, last night i started to feel a bit tired and not as good. flatulence

is a good sign things are not right and i was blowing a lot last night. My

stomach also tightens up. my blood pressure has also increased and i have made

a post about this.

Do these hypo symptoms return after 7 days? is this normal?

I suppose i could increase to 2 1/2 grains today. would this be the right thing

to do?

i am on 20mg hc as well.

Seems my dosing of Hc caused the hypo symptoms to come back. I was missing 5mg

a day for the last 2 days due to festive disruption. So back on 20mg a day and

symptoms have improved.

i am also trying out an increase in thyroid meds from today by 1/2 grain

HI, As any NDT med contains T4 as well as T3 is is usually best to wait until the full effects of any dose change have evened themselves out- which will take about 25 days- then review if you want to go up or down. Digestive flatulence may also be due to something you ate. Try acidophilus to outdo any bad bugs in your gut. Hypo symptoms returning before another dose review is due is often an indicator that you are as yet undermedicated, but it is uswise to increase again too soon for fear of overshooting optimum point- which can lead to another whole can of worms! > thyroid treatment > From: marsaday1971@...> Date: Sun, 3 Jan 2010 12:18:37 +0000> Subject: Return of hypo symptoms> > Last week i increased thyroid-s to 2 grains and i have felt fantastic all week.
