Guest guest
I think that pulse rate is a simple and reliable guide for T3 dosing. Mine had been a bit too high lately, and with a reduction of T3 I feel much better. Hans > > hi been very hot and sticky, if i attempt anything more than a slow walk i have to stop as so hot boiling hot that is. Could it be that i have too much T3 .... Guest guest
I have just been looking around and yes i have been sweating as well, so must be a little over the top, this has all come about since the vitD3 so it must have helped me. I feel fine so far on 3 grains although still very hot and sweaty the only good thing is my sex drive has returned this has been gone for some years now so erfa must be better for me and my lovely hubby :-). Just need to tone it down a little now. Will keep you posted. Carol > > > > > > hi been very hot and sticky, if i attempt anything more than a slow walk i have to stop as so hot boiling hot that is. Guest guest
This is the reason we ask members to ask their GP to check their ferritin and different minerals and vitamins to see if one of them is low enough in the reference range to actually stop the thyroid hormone from working. Obviously, now your vitamin D3 is being brought more into line, your thyroid hormone replacement is able to get into the cells so you need to keep an eye on your dose. Often hypothyroid sufferers are unable to sweat, but once they get back to normal, they start to sweat again. Guest guest
Hi Carol, reducing Erfa to see if that is the problem sounds a good idea in the circumstances, could this be a side effect of the D3 though? > thyroid treatment > From: carol_fullbrook@...> Date: Tue, 8 Jun 2010 17:32:38 +0000> Subject: been feeling very hot hot hot> > hi been very hot and sticky, if i attempt anything more than a slow walk i have to stop as so hot boiling hot that is. Guest guest
Hi sheila Yes i have not sweated for years, it has been a bit of a shock, I feel a little better today not sweated at all, although the nights have been worst as you have bedclothes on you i cannot sleep unless i am covered. I used to when hypo sleep halfway down the bed trying to get warm :-) I often only have a sheet now, hubby much happier as he was always much warmer than me. Any idea how long it will take to even out? I think i prefer erfa to armour not sure if there is any chemical difference. Guest guest
Once you get onto the right dose of Erfa, and all the other possible associated conditions that go along with being hypothyroid have been sorted, then you should be well on the road to recovery. Because we are all different, we cannot really give a specific time. You are almost there Carol.
