Guest guest Posted January 15, 2010 Report Share Posted January 15, 2010 Hi Emma, the decimal point may be in the wrong place could this be 1.85?!the TSH test is not a very accurate one so you need to get the T3 or T4 test done have you had a test in the past that you could post to us. have you ever had a auto-antibody test done (TPOab). as this will show if you have had a thyroid problem for some time . in the beginningthe auto-antibodies can be only in the thyroid gland but not in the blood. after a while they then appear in the blood serum. anything over 50 seems to be a positive for (hashimoto`s disease).the most accurate test is T3 which should be near the top of the range. if you post tests to us we will be able to help you interpret them.
