Hi Anita, have not heard of this drug STEMETIL. so can not really help you with this but can you tell me how you got diagnosed with this , as i have symptons that could be Menieres disease! while looking this up on the net I came across something about autoimmune ear disease which has the same symptoms as Menieres.I tryed to get help for my doctor by saying that i was having giddy spells, all i got was a script for travel sickness pills. so much for that. i don`t get nausia with it only a heavey head some times. so I would be interested in your symptoms and what you said to your GP.thanks for any help. dear angel !! i have had meneires desease for over 36 years after i had a road accident i never fully got my hearing back in my left ear after a few years i devoleped a fullnes in my ear and tinitus and extreme bouts of vertigo with terrible sickness and i could not stand still without falling over at this point i had a scan that showed injurey to my ear drum and that the meneires was well advanced ,i cant do heights as it makes me dizzy and sick ive lived with it that long now that its part of my life and i have to watch my salt intake as that makes the dizziness worse , as for the stemetil correct name prochlorperazine is the standard treatment for vertigo and sickness and this tablets also help so good at managing the anxiety that comes with the symptoms and clears the heavy heads !! my heavy head i would discribe is like a hangover and i dont even drink alchohol ask your doctor to try stemetil ,it is the standard treatment for vertigo even without having meneires desease as my friend has vertigo and takes stemetil too the dose is for vertigo one 5 mg tablet three times a day and you can stop the treatment when the symptoms subside i am never without the stemetil has i can just wake up to everythig spinning like getting off a roundabout !!
