Guest guest
Glynis, Doesn't your doctor have internet access in his office then? If you type in 'long term effects of omeprazole' on google there are over 2 million results. None of them good. They are banned for long term use in America. Have a look what Dr Myhill has to say about proton pump inhibitors causing you to be short of stomach acid. You really don't want to go there... http://drmyhill.co.uk/wiki/Acidity_and_ulcer_disease Is your doctor so far behind the times that he cannot reference the internet, which has been around for the past 17 years? Unbelievable, and so is the doctor,,, Grrrrrrrr! x > > > I asked my GP if there were any long term problems with one of my daily medications,(Omeprazole)? He said 'What?' I asked again if there were any problems with taking this medication every day. He finally said that he had not heard of any studies that showed long term problems... ............BECAUSE HE'S NOT LISTENING!!............ >
