Hi there, has your wife had any tests for auto-antibodies? and maybe the Adrenals.she could have auto-antibodies to the thyroid , Adrenals and this is causing her to get the depression.I would like to say not to allow the doctors to give her the ECT and anti-depressants as these don`t really work that well. get her tested for the auto-antibodies and let us no how things are going. read all you can on immune problems and auto-antibodies also about deregulation of the immune system. Angel.
