How do I post and get notes sent to my inbox?

I'm trying to learn how to function on the forum and need to ask this silly

question. Thanks for your patience! How do I tell the forum site to send notes

to me into my inbox? It takes a bit of time to go through the sign-in, etc. to

just check to see if my posts get responded to and it's hard to do that during a

working day - it takes away from my work concentration (we know how valuable

that is for a thyroid/CFS/FM person ). I'd really appreciate just that little

bit of guidance! Thanks so much!
