Change your doctor Lorna - you do not have to stay with one who

obviously thinks she knows it all, so is unwilling to further her education.

Hi Tess,

Thank you so much for the advice, I have had regular

discussions with my GP and even printed infor for her which she put to one

side then launched into a speech.... as our bodies age etc etc. I guess

the speech was designed to intimidate me because I do not have medical

training. I did inform the GP that her speech sounded as if she had read

it out of a text book and had little relevance to me as an individual, I also

informed her that I did not agree with the one shoe size fits all approach to

managing my symptoms and encouraged her to read the info that I printed off

this site. Needless to say she has not so round 2!.

I am feeling much better today after introducing himalayan

sea salt and stopped taking iodine for 2 days. I have reintroduced the

iodine at a lower dose and also introduced organic hemp oil and feel so

much better. This was recommended to me by a friend who is a

professionally trained naturopath and nutritionist.

My TSH levels were surpressed around 4 months ago, I am

due another blood test next week so will post them on the site for advice.

Take care now and thanks once again.

Lorna
