The TG concentrate is minimal. Most is made up of minerals and

vitamins. Armour Thyroid is again available, but not in all sizes yet. There

are other natural desiccated thyroid extracts available, these are Nature

Throid, Westhroid and Erfa (Canadian) 'Thyroid. All of these (with Armour) can

be prescribed by your NHS doctor if they are willing, and all can be purchased

through Internet Pharmacies without a prescription - if you are living within

the UK.

Hi Sheila, thanks for reply. I'm a bit confused

though 'cos the tub of Nutri Thyroid says it's thyroid gland concentrate from a

bovine source. Your further advice would be appreciated.

Basically I was just wanting to try it in case Armour/Nature Throid become

unavailable in the future. I notice that International Pharmacy do have some

higher grains of Armour available now - is this a good sign? Are we any clearer

about what the future might hold for Armour?
