I would be grateful if those of you who have been taking or are still taking T4 alongside with T3 could let me know of your experiences. Also I would be grateful for any advice anyone can give me on this.

I went up to 250 levothyroxine, then up to 137.5 levothyroxine and 37.5 Cynomel. Even at that dosage of T4 along with T3 I still had lingering hypo symptoms of all types, especially continuing crashes from fibromyalgia.

I now take four grains of Erfa Thyroid (4 1/2 in the winter), which is a natural dessicated thyroid medication like Armour, Naturethroid, Thyroid-S, and haven't looked back since.

I'd suggest that you try the combo of T4 and T3 meds, as you seem to want to do so, but recognize that may not be the solution for you.
