Guest guest
Sara: Kids are very resiliant and understanding. She will be fine. I loved 's idea to leave a card or a special banner or something about 1st day of school.......etc. I'm sure she also wants her Mom to be better. I know exactly how you feel though. I have 3 sons and they are so very dear to my heart. I will say a special prayer on your behalf and your daughters. Have a safe trip... and pray you have good news . Guest guest
That's an awesome idea . I am already back from my appointment but will do that in the future. A simple letter or banner would make her feel so speical and it would be sooo easy to do. Thanks Sara Re: Appointment tomorrow In a message dated 8/21/06 6:24:31 PM Eastern Daylight Time, tsmoorman@... writes: > know in the big scheme of things it won't matter but it breaks my heart > not to be here for her when she gets home tomorrow. > Sara...you can in a way be there. Guest guest
Wish me luck! I have an appointment with a different GP tomorrow and am going to try and persuade her to prescribe me thyroxine. With a TSH of 9 and FT4 of 10 I think I deserve it! Tasha
Guest guest
Tasha, Good luck! ask for a trial if she isn't very forthcoming, though you would have been treated in other countries long ago. Don't threaten her! They don't like it. Try and get her to work with you for the good of your health, there is no reason why she should take an opposing stance, also there is no reason why you would want to take meds to harm yourself.. Simple, she should want to make you better, and you should want to get better.. I don't know why it's so difficult.. (but it can be). x > > Wish me luck! Guest guest
Hi Tasha Sometimes if you ask for a 'trial' of thyroxine it makes the doc feel better and able to justify allowing you to have it if they are nervous about guidelines. Could help push the doc over the line. and Good Luck, or its a trip to europe where you would get meds immediately with that TSH jennyF > > Wish me luck! Guest guest
Hi Tasha, you certainly do. the approach- trial 'to see if it helps' can work. > thyroid treatment > From: nataliajones@...> Date: Sun, 16 May 2010 18:50:07 +0000> Subject: Appointment tomorrow> > Wish me luck! Guest guest
Sending positive thoughts your way! ErynMom to Brayden, 20 months, 3rd cast----- Reply message -----From: suzy3333@...To: <infantile scoliosis treatment >Subject: Appointment TomorrowDate: Mon, Jun 25, 2012 1:34 pm Ok, everyone. I'm still so far behind reading my emails. I'm currently on May 23rd. So, I'm getting there. Anyway, Shane goes back tomorrow to Shriner's Philly as his 1st follow-up since being put in the brace (on March 5th). Please keep fingers crossed (and toes and eyes LOL) that we at least did not progress back. I actually love the idea of the brace because every night he gets to take a bath and I get to give him many squishy hugs. Right now, just this past Saturday, I really started hardcore potty training. So, far he's doing good. He has 1 accident on Saturday at 6pm (right before getting put back in his easy up in preparation for bedtime) and then 1 accident yesterday at 5pm. He's not just peeing, but pooping too. I know, too much information. Sorry about that. Anyway, please keep positive thoughts for us that Shane hasn't progressed. We are hoping for lower numbers but will be happy with stabile numbers. As long as the numbers don't go up, we will stay with the brace. On March 5th, Shane was 20º in the brace. Please keep positive thoughts for the same or better for us. I will post tomorrow when I know more. Thanks, everyone.
