Dear Louise

Can you write to your doctor and tell him how you feel and that

you need your Ventolin - he is not the one who is suffering and he should not

tell you to wait until the results of your scan come in - does he know HOW LONG

that wait might be. Tell him that you are not prepared to wait and that you

require an immediate prescription for Ventolin for your asthma and the fact

that he is keeping you waiting is causing you to be frightened in case you have

a severe attack and without Ventolin to hand, the serious consequences of what

that might cause. Tell him that YOU are interested in the blood results, and

you would like the results sent to you as soon as they have them and the

results of your July tests as well, together with the reference range,

especially as he has already told you that he is not interested in the. Send

a copy to the Head of Practice and on the bottom of your letter, ask for your

letter of requests to be placed into your medical notes.

I believe it is VERY important to put what you want into a

letter because when you are face to face with your doctor, you can feel

intimidated and lost for words, and it is often only when we leave the surgery

we could kick ourselves because we didn't ask for this or that or show

ourselves to be more assertive. Doctors know that should they not comply with

your request (within reason) and something goes wrong, the letter will be found

and they will be in deep doo doo.

I know you are a very assertive lady - so good luck, and let us

know if this works. We have to learn that our life is not in our doctors hands,

it is in our own - so we have to look after it.

I told him how much better I felt, and he just

said lets wait until we see the results of my scan. he really has unearved me,

as I know he is looking for problems, and I know there are no Tumors on my

lungs, I picked this information up from him. He doe's not know I am on the

natural healing path, but Doctors take away all our hope, and give nothing in

its place, I asked him about my new bloods ( should be ready by then, and he

said he's not interested in them anyway, but I shall collect them myself, and

take them with me next Friday and ask him to interpretate them for me as I am

very interested, and compare them to last July bloods. I am exspecting a change

in them for the better. I know Doctors do not know everything. and they cannot

take away my very strong desire to live, and my positive attitude. they are

waiting for me to die, and given up on me, but I and all my family have not.

they are in for a shock ha ha. shall let you all know the outcome. thank you
