High levels of type 3 iodothyronine deiodinase activity were found in the haemangioma tissue. This enzyme is involved in the inactivation of thyroxine.

I was looking for a connection (if any) between liver haemangioma and hypothyroidism and came across the above but I do not know what it means :(
