At least you already have heaps of > blood work etc. > **It is really hard to tell, actually with Jai, a couple of times he has seemed to begin a flare, and then it has settled. His only symptoms at the moment are that he is peeing about 15 times per day (havent counted, think I should I may be surprised will let you know if I am way off, though I am getting pretty good at estimating it now, sorta subliminally) He has puffy eyes, and looks pale and tired (may be due to the anaemia that they dont seem interested in although I feel that it should be dealt with, and have decided to push for this) and that is about it. Now in the past that has been a precursor, however it may take a while to flare, it is hard to tell, last year he got 2 full months of being well then went into a major flare within a week of developing the first symptom again. However he has now been at this level for about 3-4 weeks, prior to that he was great for about a month or so. I know that you will understand when I say that I always feel that he may never flare up again, and so it is such a shock when he does, but maybe this time..... oh you know, I still feel that when I am well that I will NEVER get that sick again, and can hardly remember how bad it felt, till it comes back again. You are probably right about making an appointment, however I still have in the back of my head that maybe he is just going to get well and we will never know what it was - yeah I know, dream on hey? It is always hard when one of us is well to know when to make those appoints, I just recently cancelled one with Dwyer for me, as I am so well that is seemed like a hugely expensive and time consuming exercise to go there to tell him I was feeling pretty good. > Tell them I sent you *wicked cackle* **HMMM, not sure if this is a good idea or not!!! LOL, just kidding, > Sorry you have to go though it all again. This is one Dr that > although might give you some weirdo looks (he does give them to me > and I just poke my tongue out at him) at least he never gives up on > you. ***If he tries to tell me there is nothing wrong with him and I am neurotic, he is gonna get dropped into the harbour with cement boots, though! Dont worry I am a master of weird faces, I will practice my reportoire lol Thanks for the info, 6 weeks is pretty usual to wait for a specialist here, though it does make is SO hard to know when to jump. I will be keeping a close eye on him, dont you worry and will jump at the first sign of ANY escalation, no matter how tiny Do I understand that you are on crutches???? How long for and what have you done to yourself, how is that flare going, have you settled at all Aisha? Have been thinking of you, talk soon lots of love :-) > > Love to you and all the family, > Aisha.
Guest guest
Hey Rach, Mothers always know when their little ones are sick so follow your instincts. My Dr has kids too, so will understand, and if you need to see him ASAP tell them its an emergency, that you have been dicked around by too many twits and that you got in touch with me and I gave you his number, that might get you in sooner?? Worth a shot... Yeah I was on crutches cause I fell over my Pajama bottoms cause they are too long lol. I'm just hobbling around now. Think I broke a toe its soooooo sore. But hell its only a toe! LOL Glad you doing ok. See the gyno next week. fun fun fun .... I'm just exhausted but I'll be fine!! Love ya! Aisha
Guest guest
Hi Aisha Im sorry.... I confess, I actually giggled over the PJ thing. You obviously dont have my problem, as I am 5 foot 11, I cant ever get things long enough for me. SO I guess I should look on the bright side of wearing ankle freezers and looking like a dag. At least I will never break my toe that way! How is it honey? (looking innocent, I didnt REALLY laugh you know!) Hang on, when I read your message again, it is hard to tell if you were on crutches and that is why you tripped, or if you are on crutches because you tripped! Actually, if you are on crutches at all, then you are hurting heaps, so I shouldnt have laughed at all - ohhh, now I feel guilty!! :-( Sorry mate, hope the toe is a better now! Now, as to the Dr thing, the other day Jai peed 31 times, and woke up twice in the night to pee. He is pooing pale green. (sorry, but I know you can handle the gory details after all, I am intimately acquainted with your butt LOL!) I went to my GP, and he said enough is enough. I told him that I didnt want to go back to the Dr that thinks I am neurotic, as he will just up Jais ditropan dose, and it is already causing problems with dry mouth. He decided to ring Dwyer, the next morning, to ask his opinion, cause he is stumped, doenst want to send me to Zeigler, as he doesnt believe that kids can get Reiters, he promised he would ring me immediately after talking to him, and he actually did ring, (wonders will never cease) however Dwyer is away for a couple of weeks. Then afterwards, I thought OK, well it is time to go to Isha's Dr. SO I am going to make him write a referral, and will ring on Monday for an appointment. FINALLY! Will let you know how I go. Doesnt matter if it takes a little while to get in, he is flaring up on the Ditropan, so this is ongoing and needs to be treated. Talk to you soon honey, how are you going, tell me tell me do! xxx > Hey Rach, > > Mothers always know when their little ones are sick so follow your > instincts. Guest guest
Laugh all you like - I know you are seeing my dr and therefore will be having lots of tests muahahahahahahahahahaha My foot is a little sore but its ok. I was on crutches cause I couldnt walk (and you had the nerve to laugh hmmmmmmph) I'm glad you're taking Jai to my Dr, he really is great Dr. Remember to take all previous scans, tests etc with you as it will save alot of time and double ups. He dont say much at first, but he's a genuine caring physician so if you have any questions just ask him. He always makes time for his patients. How are you feeling? I was on crutches cause I > couldnt walk (and you had the nerve to laugh hmmmmmmph) **Sorry sweetie, didnt mean it, I was in one of those moods! I wasnt really laughing, it was just a mental picture. you can get back at me by thinking of me last night with my ear on fire while having an allergic reaction to the cream they put under the sensors, (Had sleep study, wont go into details already posted, will let you know when I have full results). now I have one red and one white ear, and it is soo sore (and looks dumb too) Also, the nurse ripped out a clump of hair right on my hairline when removing them visciously at 6 am this morning, think she looks forward to that moment all night, sure seemed as though she enjoyed it! GRRR Now I have a bald spot - how attractive! > How are you feeling? **dizzy, seems I have Menieres, am about to take meds for it, have to get the script tomorrow, wish the world would stop spinning so I could get off!!! How is your foot now??? Are you still on crutches? Why were you on crutches before you tripped? I think I am confused! hugs > > Love Aisha

Guest guest
foods with heme-iron (which is the type your body needs) are basically animal products, . To absorb the most iron from your foods, drink some fruit juice--particularly those high in vitamin C--or eat a fruit that is high in vitamin C at the same time (such as berries and oranges). Dark leafy vegetables also are a decent source of iron for your body. Most young women need an iron supplement. If you are considering one, buy one that is " slow-Fe " as it is easier on your GI system. Joan At 08:36 AM 7/23/2002 -0700, you wrote: > > I had a question. Guest guest
Hi yes i think this was the starting dose, did not read the actual script.as it was given to his carer. I believe that this doctor is a bit of an expert in hypothyroid, ummm I don`t think soooo. I will see what happens ,and if it go`s wrong then I will have to find him another doctor. and i am looking to change my doctor soon.!as I will not get anywhere with mine, as you can lead a horse to water but not make him/her drink.lol.lol. have wasted enough time with this surgery, and need to move on and put it behind me. we are not getting any younger and I will be retired in two more years, and will not have much money to live on.regards Angel. Guest guest
It always makes me laugh when I hear 'borderline hypothyroid'!! I asked my GP, is that like being a little bit pregnant or a tiny bit diabetic?
