Guest guest
Following a couple of months of delays and repeat tests I have finally been discharged from the endocrinologist with a letter that my thyroid results are " quite clearly normal " . If they are normal then why do I still feel so ill! Can anyone tell me whether these results would have been diagnosed as " hypo " in another country? T4 - 9.5 (range 6.3 to 14) TSH 1.7 (range 0.3 to 5.6). Fortunately I discovered Armour was being manufactured again and have started treatment again, one grain per day, starting a couple of days ago. It'll be another few days/weeks before I notice any difference. I will be ordering some of the Erfa when I have a bit more cash to spare, that should be over a year's worth so no worries about running out again! I am still really angry over the way my health concerns have been dismissed so readily - and even more angry that I have not been listened to, the last letter contained two inaccuracies which, now I have been discharged, I am going to correct (politely but VERY firmly!). Thank goodness for TPA and my nutritional therapist, without whom I may well have just given up long before now!!
