Guest guest
Hi I got more anxious on NAE(/X) and dr wilson's adrenal rebuilder. the flashbacks (for want of better word) were dreadful. stopped when i stopped NAE. have not had the same problmes with Allergy research cortex extract. It seems to me to be a moot point whether the NAE (etc) has adrenline in; for *me* it acted as if it did. if you already have lots of adrenaline, you don't need more. there is also iso-cort that you can take too. the allergy reasearch is a good product too, so perhaps it is best to stay on the safe side and use that? have you got any adrenal results? THere is a good adrenal support forum on if you had results you could post on there. chris > I have now managed to do my adrenal salivary test which I am sending off tomorrow. I have been advised by Dr P to take NAEX.
Guest guest
I also found i needed to use hydrocortisone as my adrenals were pretty bad. chris
Guest guest
Hi , I too felt very anxious on NAE but my daughter takes it and finds it fine. I can't tolerate Isocort either. If you want to try Isocort I could send you some in the post. I'm about to order Allergy research cortex extract as it has been recommended to me before. I have in the past taken Temperature Syndrome Adaptogen and thyroid care and found them to be helpful supplements but the cost of shipping makes them very expensive. > > Hi > > I got more anxious on NAE(/X) and dr wilson's adrenal rebuilder. the flashbacks (for want of better word) were dreadful. stopped when i stopped NAE. > > have not had the same problmes with Allergy research cortex extract. > > It seems to me to be a moot point whether the NAE (etc) has adrenline in; for *me* it acted as if it did. if you already have lots of adrenaline, you don't need more. Guest guest
If you believe you will be happier with the Allergy Research ACOG then give that a go . Whatever you use, you need to get your adrenal gland boosted to enable all your other hormone glands to be able to function. Your thyroid hormone needs healthy adrenals to enable the T4 to T3 conversion to take place. Luv - Sheila Hi, I am the newbie who suddenly stopped taking Levothyroxine and got into a lot of trouble. I have developed General Anxiety Disorder as a result of this and can't sleep or eat properly and have diarrhoea. If anyone one can advise on this, I would be very grateful as I want to start supporting my adrenal glands as soon as possible as in the long run it will help with my anxiety and perhaps stopped me going on the anti-depressants my GP wants me to start taking. Guest guest
Thank you all very much for your kind advice. I have taken one tablet with breakfast today of NA and so far I have not noticed any bad reaction. I have also ordered the Allergy Research Adrenal Cortex Glandular as a back up in case the NA does not suit me. I think I am going to leave the NAE(X) for the time being. Because of my present anxiety it may be best to start slowly. Also, because I did not listen to Dr P and increased my levothyroxine to 75 mcg instead of remaining on 25mcg. (He wanted me to stay on 25 mcg, take 1 tablet of NAE(X)and start Cytomel in 3 weeks time) I have cut down to 50 mcg though in the last 2 days as I begun to feel agitated on 75 mcg. It's funny as I saw my GP yesterday and she wanted me to go onto 100 mcg because my TSH is still high (49), but I do not think I should put it up so quickly specially when I do not know how much of it is being converted to T3. (I need some tests on this) On Dr P's advice, I have also added to my regime of calcium, magnesium, selenium, EPA, flax seed oil, celtic salt, more vitamin C (2 g) and coenzyme Q10. I will try to speak to Dr P tomorrow about all this and about adding some B vitamins specially Pantothenic Acid. > > > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG - www.avg.com > Version: 8.5.435 / Virus Database: 271.1.1/2713 - Release Date: 02/28/10 > 19:34:00 >
Guest guest
There seems to be a problem finding Allergy Research Cortex extract. I wonder if this is the reason why. A shortage of organic adrenal cortex so manufacturers are concentrating on the whole adrenal glandular product. Shame I really wanted to try this. http://www.nutri-linkltd.co.uk/news/product-replacement/ > > > I'm about to order Allergy research cortex extract as it has been recommended to me before. >

Guest guest
Hi Thats the problem I'm having I can't buy from revital as they haven't got any. I ordered online from Revital yesterday and they phoned me to tell me they were out of stock without any chance in the near future of getting more supplies. This is because Allergy Research are having a problem getting the raw material to make them. http://www.nutri-linkltd.co.uk/news/product-replacement/ Has anybody ordered Allergy Research cortex granulars from anywhere else. There are plenty of links but not to sites I have ever ordered from before.
