Guest guest
Hello I am considering going to see Dr Skinner as he is much much closer than other doctors and can still prescribe. Is Dr Skinner willing/able to test/treat other hormone problems, should they be detected? I am utterly sick to death of my gp and the NHS; i have sleep apnea, and they tested me for thyroid, diabetes etc. I asked to be tested for other hormone imbalances, but no, they won't do this. Not even to establish a baseline as to see if sleep spnea treatment will help this some months down the line. There are clear links between other hormones and testosterone, DHEA etc, but as with the rest of the nhs they will only do their own little bit to protect their own little niche. heaven forbid a patient should try to help himself or take an interest. I am at my wits end today. I have tried calling Dr Skinner's office but he's away until Next week now I think. I Know of course " i should ask Dr Skinner " as he can tell me, but has anyone seen him and do they know the answer to this? In the current climate perhaps it is better to email me off list? chrisjtaylor46@... I hope this will be ok? Or if you know any other doctor/specialist (who is not in London -too far) then please please can you let me know? Can't go on like this really. Thank you Chris
