can the database from the group be used?

-- Re: Dr Grim

Is there a database > where we put all our medical information?I've nominated myself to help Dr. Grim to build this database, but I haven't been able to get much done. Part of the problem is that Dr. Grim uses one kind of software that I'm not familiar with, which means it would take me longer to build something than if I just created something using the software I know.Plus I'm probably also suffering from wanting to do it perfectly the first time, instead of doing something that's just OK :-(- Steve

An interesting suggestion! I took a look at it, but it's much too

simple to be useful for what Dr. Grim wants to do. Nice idea, though :)

Hi Ayala! I'm new here, and attempted to add my name to the database, but I

don't know how to enter the information.

I can see, after reading others' posts, that I'm quite a novice, even after

playing around with blending scents for several years!!

The files contain a lot of helpful information - thanks so much.

If only the owner or moderator can make changes then folks cant enter

their own data?

Can a group have more than one data base-say DB 1, DB 2 etc.?

I don't think there is any limit on the number of databases, but there is a

limit on total storage for the group. I think the limit is 100 mb but don't

quote me on that. I've been in groups that started a second group only for

data storage but no postings.

You can set a database up so everyone can make changes. There are several

options. One is to let everyone enter data but only the database creator or

a moderator can change the column headings, etc. That would be preferable.

I am slightly impressed with the options offers.
