Guest guest
Hi Carol, well, I can only speak for my own experience but it feels like a kind of burning ache that penetrates through from your back, at the site of the adrenals ,through towards the front. It starts off as an ache and can quickly develop into a strong continuous (not throbbing) pain. A hot water bottle on the site gives a bit of relief. Stress, like arguing kids, a traffic situation, an argument etc can set it off or make it worse. It's always worth checking if you have pain in that area that it's not a kidney issue, though after a while you get to tell the difference as to where the kidneys hurt and where the adrenals hurt. Hope that's of some help. julia
Guest guest
I've had this pain as well and it feels like a bad bladder infection, but in the adrenals. What helped me with this was 400 mgs of magnesium a day but mostly doing 1/2 teaspoon of unrefined sea salt in water at least once a day......adrenals need salt. In 's book, *adrenal fatigue*, he suggests salt water first thing out of bed in the morning. Guest guest
Hi all, I read somewhere that adrenal pain is almost exactly the same as appendicitus pain. Having had pains that my GP thought was appendicitus (and it wasn't) and then realising my adrenals were dangerously low - I can confirm this is true. best wishes Mandy
Guest guest
HI all, there have been cases where patients have gone down to surgery for appendectomy and they found it wasn't - I daresay it was the adrenals. regards Mandy
