Guest guest
I think in Canada the Norma range for the TSH level is as high as 5. I feel terrible all the time - no wonder, mine is always above 3. How do they " treat " hypothyroidism other than give you a thyroid pill and send you home and say " Come back next month " ? I'm so sick and tired of being sick. I still get Charlie horses in my middle when I turn and twist, ache in my joints, tired, fog in the brain is so thick sometimes that I feel like I'm in a bowl of pea soup. I want a specialist, still heavy from fluid, but don't see my GP until June 1. I have a chest infection and am wondering if the emergency room doctor could refer me to an endocrinologist maybe??? There is a lot for me to learn on this site and am feeling a little overwelmed at the amount. My son is in school taking lab tech so I am throwing questions out his way now too. So I am embarking on my decision to grab my health out of my GP's hands and get better once and for all- I want my life back.
