Guest guest
Mainstream endocrinology warns osteoporosis may result from self-treatment of hypothyroidism. A lot of what NHS endocrinology says about underactive thyroid would appear to be wrong but I am still worried about it. My friend says she has osteoporosis as the result of *not* being treated for hypothyroidism for many years. Would greatly apprreciate it if anyone could shed light on this question.
