Guest guest
Dear Member Thyroid Patient Advocacy Internet Support Forum is set up to give help and support to those who need it and who have a thyroid problem, either underactive, overactive or thyroid cancer. Please be assured that not one person here who actively write on the forum is medically qualified, apart, of course from Dr Mantzourani, and this means that that not one member is qualified to tell people how much or how little thyroid/adrenal or any other medications they might need. Each member is an individual and as such, has individual needs. What one person takes does NOT mean it is OK for you to take that amount. Every member has a medically qualified practitioner who they should consult, prior to changing any of their medications. Other than that, if members have been driven to self diagnose because their doctor refuses to give them a proper diagnosis and the treatment they need because their serum thyroid function tests are within the normal range, they should take the responsibility to ensure they read all the information they can in our files section in this forum, or read the information available in our web site.
