Guest guest
, Thanks for the reply. Do you think it could be a problem with my ear drum even though several GPs have looked at it and not found a problem? I don't know much about glue ear but it does sound likely? You know one doctor did say to me it's likely to be a build up of fluid behind the ear drum and I couldn't do anything about it without an operation - hmm, sounds similar doesn't it? Although my GP thinks it could be related to my thyroid, not sure about that. Regards thyroid - I have considered swapping to NDT but I've tried serveral combos of levo + T3 and levo + T4 etc (under the guidence of Dr Skinner) - my bloods look optimal on T4 alone but obviousy my symptoms still shout hypo hence paying more attention to my adrenals. I did try a low dose of prednisilone (with Dr S) but that was horrible and made all my symptoms so much worse. I did not withdraw thyroid replacement before I started it so I wonder if that was the problem there. Dr S thinks I need higher meds but I can't tolerate them at the moment. I' trying glandulars right now and when I came off levo to try this I felt a little more connected to the world - as soon as I re-introduced the levo my 'detached' symptoms became worse again. > > > > Hello , ***How awful for you!
