Guest guest
You should really be taking your HC at least three times a day - if you are experiencing difficulties with sleeping, perhaps you need to try Melatonin when you go to bed to see if that helps. After all, if your adrenals are not functioning properly, you can bet your bottom dollar that other glands are not putting out sufficient hormone either. You can buy Melatonin at www.pharmwest.com very cheaply. Start by taking 1 1/2 mgs - they are in 3 mgs tablets. Luv - Sheila dr P advised me to take all my 35/40mcg in the morning because I find it difficult to sleep. But i feel tired all morning and feel the need to take as much hc as possible. I realise that the t3 is " consuming " the hc. If I were to take half the dose on awaking and the other half before midday, would that help? thanks berny No virus found in this incoming message. Guest guest
Hi Berny, It may do- worth a try, or you may not be on a high enough dose- I need more than that when on T3 alone- I take 70mcg plus 3 grains Armour! I assume you have checked for all the other things that can affect how you use thyroid meds- candida, low selenium, zinc, iron etc? > thyroid treatment > From: berny156@...> Date: Tue, 9 Feb 2010 17:56:10 +0000> Subject: taking all t3 in am makes me tired/ideas??> > dr P advised me to take all my 35/40mcg in the morning because I find it difficult to sleep. Guest guest
dear I see that other people take more t3 than me but dr P seemed to think 40mcg was a LOT when i told him. I notice that if i take it all in one go i feel very tired and need to take most of my hc (35mg a day) in the am. in the pm i feel stronger. Otherwise i could take half t3 when i wake up and half at about midday. My adrenals are the real problem i think although i still suffer from the cold. thanks for advice. berny > > > Hi Berny, > It may do- worth a try, or you may not be on a high enough dose- I need more than that when on T3 alone- I take 70mcg plus 3 grains Armour!
