Guest guest
Contact PALS at the hospital, you can either do it by e-mail or letter. (Patient Advocacy & Liaison Service) Google PALS and you can get a link to your area / hospital. Its about time that we got the right powers on our side to help us fight for our rights and our health!! Just be aware that you can write to your endo or (as in my case) all the endos you have ever seen, but if the secretary doesn't like the tone of the letter then the doc will never see it. Glynis > > Hi Glynis, > > Way to go girl.......... > I am also trying to be a thorn in the side of my endo. I have been writing, with the help and advice of Sheila, since early 2008. I have lost count of the letters I have sent him. Now I have sent a letter to the head of the hospital. > > My other half has been told by his GP that as he is self medicating he should 'get on with it'. We are now drafting a letter to him. > > I think we should all write letters, of complaint, instruction or information to all the doctors and tell them that the letters should go onto our medical notes. > > > B >
