I have been called for an NM Thyroid scan (Perechnetate) at quite short notice

(one working day). I wasn't expecting it. I'm a tidge worried. It's stupid, but

I am worried that the endo is calling for this at short notice because he thinks

I have Cancer. I am being stupid aren't I? What will this scan tell him?
