Having Problems With 2grain Armour

Sorry this is a bit long.

I used to buy 4grain Armour and cut them up; but the last time I ordered I

noticed that the 2grain ones worked out a bit cheaper and I thought they'd be

easier to cut up so I got those.

I'm pretty sure the last lot of 4grain tablets are the new formulation: they're

chalky, not sweet at all, a bit lighter in colour and when I first got them the

piggy smell was only just noticeable.

When I got the 2grain tablets they were an even lighter colour and didn't smell

piggy at all. I decided to try them before I finished the 4grain ones. Well,

I've just had four or five weeks feeling terrible with similar side effects to

the ones I got on thyroxine and then some:0(

I've just gone back to the 4grain tablets (yesterday) and am starting to feel a

bit better already. Strangely these 4grain tablets now smell quite strongly when

they didn't before.

Obviously they shouldn't be, but I'm wondering if there's a difference in

formula between the higher dose tablets and the lower dose ones. Has anyone else

noticed this? Perhaps the people who haven't noticed the difference since the

refomulation are using higher dose tablets and the ones that are having problems

are using the lower dose ones?

Please can other members tell me if they've noticed this as I don't know what to

do now. I've thought about ordering more 4grain tablets and hoping they're

alright but I don't want to waste any more money.

BTW, I've tried Westhroid before and just doesn't work for me.

Thanks,

Louise.
