Guest guest
Hi i have been on Levothyroxin for a week now to cut a very long story short it has taken me five long years to get proof that i have an underactive T.I stopped treatment for an overactive T and knew that i was underactive for me but no one would help. I had ten blood tests all came back normal i started to read up on the on the tests and managed to get my doc to test me correctly guess what underactive. So i was jumping for joy as i have been two stone over my normal weight and my hair has thinned. Now I'm really scared coz I've been reading that Levothyroxin can put on weight and course hair loss. Please can someone advise me i cant see my GP prescribing anything natural i now feel i have another battle in the wings waiting. It took me six years of pooing fifteen times a day ME going down to six stone and my periods to stop for them to treat my overactive T in the first place I'm so worn out. I'm currently on 25mgs.Regards .
