Guest guest
At the moment I attend a Chiropodist (not NHS) as I get a lot of problems with corns and callouses on the front part underneath my feet. This means continually having these cut (shaved off). The problem with this is that I have heard of at least two people, and one was a neighbour where this method caused infection to set in, and neither got over the infection, and both died. They were both diabetics, but I am also concerned as there are two identified cases of Diabetis in my family. I would be pleased to know if anybody has any safe remedies for keeping corns and callouses at bay. Could this also be associated with thyroid problems. They can get so bad that they can stop me from walking. Kathleen
