Hi Everyone

My endo has just retired and I am due to see his predecessor tomorrow.

I am very anxious about this but have been reassured that he is very nice. My

concerns are what literature should I print off for him to see about NDT? I get

my Armour prescribed but i have been waiting weeks for my last prescription to

be filled so was going to ask for Natur-throid or westhroid as an alternative.

I am also concerned as to what to tell him. when I saw the last endo I was on 3

1/4 grains of Armour. Since then due to my recurring leg pains and weird

sypmtoms think i was going hyper I decided to knock off the 1/4 grain of Armour

and add in 25mcg T4 and did that for 4 weeks which resulted in a worsening of

joint pains and generally going downhill. So I stopped the T4 but since I was

also having missed heartbeats i reduced the armour and have ended up on only 2

grains in split doses still getting the missed beats but think they may be

settling a bit. strangely I have felt much better on less Armour but yesterday

kept getting the horrible bouts of anxiety in my stomach, this is not down to

worrying about tomorrow it is a horrible sensation you might expect before the

dentist not when you are watching TV.

I am taking 4 NAE and 3g vit c for my adrenals but ran out over the weekend, I

wonder if that might account for my anxiety?

sorry for the long post but i'm not sure how much detail to go into with the

endo, I don't know what he will say about me messing about with the dosages but

an worried that if i say i am now on 2 grains I may end up stuck on too low a

dose.

Help please.

Love Lizzie
