Guest guest
Hi. I think I was way off the mark in thinking my fatigue and ability to cope with stress ( rather lack of ) could be due to adrenal fatigue and being hypo. I'm not sure that the results have any bearing on my hypo condition and continuing symptoms which are mainly fatigue intolerance to the cold. My basal temp is 97F. I'm taking 150mcg of thyroxine. I now have an appointment through to see an endo in 2 weeks and have been reading up with the info you have on file. my results are: Cortisol levels Sample 1: 15.7 (12 - 22) Sample 2: 3.6 ( 5 - 9 ) Sample 3: 5 ( 3 - 7 ) Sample 4: 22.4 ( 1 - 3 ) DHEA levels am sample: 1.32 pm sample: 1.07 DHEA reference range: 0.3 - 1 I felt very tired during the day and went to bed and fell asleep after collecting the last sample. I would be grateful for your interpretation of the results. Vivienne
Guest guest
Hi vivienne, Highest point should be in the am, but a messed up circadian rhythm ans the low day samples indicates adrenals under stress. > thyroid treatment > From: sibbaldv@...> Date: Sat, 30 Jan 2010 13:59:38 +0000> Subject: ASP saliva test results> > Hi. Guest guest
Thanks . I can't remember exactly what I read and can't find it, but I was hoping cortisol levels would be lower because I read ( I think) if not enough cortisol the cells could not uptake T3 and that might explain hypo symptoms.
