Guest guest Posted June 27, 2010 Report Share Posted June 27, 2010 many thanks and Sheila -JohN Lowe is helpful but I eventually found the one you gave from Brompton Hospital -Pubmed 3195839 the lady here had a TSH of over 50 but it doesn't have to be as large as that .I had significant breathing difficulties with a TSH of 3 -It shows what a bad test the TSH test is .I am okay but I know somebody who isn't and its affected the heart.[Weak intercostal muscles - low SATS- not enough oxygen to the heart -enlarged heart] I think there is a lot of this happening but GPs don't make the connection -It's like Dr P says it affects everything.
